Stuart is the director of Baker Tilly Management Services. Prior to this appointment, he headed up the Finance and IT department in one of the largest companies in Papua New Guinea (MainLand Holdings). This was a challenging time (beginning during the GFC) and showed Stuart is especially skilled working in complex environments, leading the company back to profitability and also recapitalization.
Stuart has extensive finance experience around the globe working in Vietnam, Indonesia, China, Australia, Papua New Guinea, Thailand and Myanmar. Working in various industries including manufacturing, mining, restructuring and insolvency. It is this wealth of global experience in multiple industries that makes Stuart invaluable when innovative solutions are required.
Since commencing work with Baker Tilly, Stuart has taken over the Business Accounting Services division. Where he has used his experience to provide specialist services in the areas of company restructuring, the provision of accounting and secretarial services to foreign companies operating in Myanmar and Thailand as well as advising on acquisitions and mergers.
Stuart is an experienced management professional combining a high degree of commercial acumen and experience, with formal qualifications in accounting and Economics and in-depth experience in a wide range of sectors.
